Centrifugal Refrigeration Machine Structure and Working Principle.

Core Components Include:

‌1.Centrifugal Compressor: Compresses gaseous refrigerant through a high-speed impeller (with rotational speeds ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 r/min), converting kinetic energy into pressure energy.

‌2.Condenser: The high-temperature and high-pressure gas is cooled here into a liquid state. Commonly, it has a tube-shell design, with the temperature difference of the cooling water controlled within 5-8℃.

‌3.Evaporator: The low-pressure liquid refrigerant absorbs the heat from the chilled water to achieve cooling, and the outlet water temperature can reach 7℃.

 

Operating principle:

It follows the reverse Carnot cycle:

1.The compressor compresses the refrigerant gas (increasing the pressure to 1.5-3.5 MPa).

2.The gas in the condenser liquefies and releases heat.

3.The throttling valve reduces the pressure and then enters the evaporator to absorb heat.

4.The cycle repeats to achieve continuous cooling.

1.The COP value can reach above 6.0 (part-load efficiency improvement of 20% is required by the latest IPLV standard).
