Vertical exposed fan coil units are terminal devices in central air conditioning systems, mainly used in low-noise public places such as hotels, hospitals, and office buildings. They achieve temperature regulation through forced air circulation and heat exchange with cold and hot water coils. The equipment consists of a centrifugal fan, coil heat exchanger, casing assembly, and condensate pan. The air outlet direction is either vertically upward or diagonally forward, and it supports three-speed fan adjustment and linkage control with a thermostat.
The unit adopts seamless purple copper tubes and sinusoidal corrugated aluminum fins to enhance heat exchange efficiency, and is equipped with a double-inlet centrifugal galvanized fan and permanent magnet motor for low-noise operation (≤54dB(A)). The structural design includes a single-piece forged brass header and collector to optimize water flow distribution, an extended condensate pan with a 5° drainage slope to prevent leakage, and a casing made of galvanized steel plate and PE insulation cotton to prevent cold bridging. The unit has undergone a 2.8MPa high-pressure leak test and can operate at a working pressure of 1.6MPa. Regular cleaning of the filter screen and maintenance according to a 220V ± 10% voltage standard are required. Some models can be optionally equipped with a TiO₂ sterilizer to improve air quality, in compliance with the GB/T 19232-2003 national standard.
